The company provides advice and services in four main areas: taxation, legal, business, and financial. Our headline service for clients is in international tax planning, and the often-related corporate and trust structuring, for both small and large businesses and for private individuals. Commercial work is a key element of our service, and we also have strong Spanish property department.
Many of the company's clients have personal, business, or investment interests in Spain. The great majority of our clients are resident outside Spain (predominantly in the British Isles, continental Europe, the US, and South Africa, though others reside elsewhere in the world, notably in South America, the Far East, and Australasia). Typically, some 7% of our clients are residents of Spain.
In addition to tax work, the company provides a range of advice and professional services in a number of fields. These include business and asset structuring, creation of business plans (including the financial aspects thereof), management disciplines and techniques (especially those relevant to the planning and start-up phases of a new business in Spain), contract negotiation, post-contract management, all forms of legal work (save litigation, which we largely try to avoid, preferring negotiation where possible), corporate and business finance, and other related matters both for businesses and for private individuals. We have specialist services designed for, inter alia, trustees of timesharing schemes and corporate owners of real property. The company also provides fiscal representation in Spain for non-residents with any form of economic interest in Spain, and can advise on most aspects of establishment in Spain whether of businesses or of private individuals. Our property services include buying and selling, letting and rental, in both the private and business sectors, including advice on ownership structures, and the tax and other effects of acquisition and disposal.
In addition to the advice and services provided by our in-house qualified staff, we have a wide range of professional associations and contacts throughout Spain, in the principal European capitals, in New York, and in many other countries of the world. We also have representative offices in Luxembourg, London, Madrid, New York and Zurich.
Members of staff are generally fluent in at least our two principal languages of Spanish and English, and always welcoming. The company's offices are in the centre of Marbella, with convenient parking and within three minutes' walk of the main shopping centre. Regrettably there isn't a view of the sea… but it's only 700 metres away, and the mountain view is great! The coffee-machine is always on. |
